There is a great tradition in Russia, to realize 1-st May demonstration. But, it only a tradition, a senseless ceremonial now. Also, part �de� mean destroy, deconstruction etc. And we desided to create owr oun Monstation, make art-injection to the city, to show owr own senses and ideas. The less meaning, the more monstrative. And there is a result:
Wild rumours about artistic association "CAT" bounced back and forth in the city well before action, which caused coppers to go overdrive. Mainstream media rote "Novosibirsk antiglobalits are planning to demonstrate with anti-social and deeply beside the point banners"

At 9:30 in agreed place were appeared tree monstrators with slogans, and man in grey, before reading slogans (!), demanded to leave the place of a meeting �with your antisocial slogans�. We unrolled slogans to show to them, first was �Tanya, don�t cry� (a line from well known children�s poem). And policemen said �There is it, antisocial slogans! Give it to us!�, but they could not sad, that exactly untisocial in it, and demanded to show �chief� to them. They don�t understand, what there is no chief in owr group. After that they offed to go in the tail of official column. Kind of all was all right, we unrolled other slogans, other man joined to our Monstration. And there other policeman with support group come, he was more aggressive, he demanded to show official permission to him, go home, show our chief and give back slogans in the same time. In this moment some journalists come, and aggressor had a rest, we tell to him all, that we sad to another grey man before, and he gone away.

Our monstrators (near 100 peoples) take a place in the end of the column. Column start its moving with crashing cans, trumpeting, different penny whistles and other exotic music instruments.

Stream slogans �Anyhow thus!�, �Tanya, don�t cry�, �Reality is the god�s destiny!�, �Where am I?�, �A-a-a-a-ah!�, �Y-y-y-y-yt!�, �May to May!�, �Siberia � jaMAIca!�, �opy-ohi!�, �I have been broken!�, "Make love, not work!", �Pull blanket, divide pies�, �Monstration!� and transparency without text � red , with white stripes, like protective tape Going�s wear were decorated with tablets �Forward!�, �Sideways!�, �Open!�, �Closed!�, �I am against!�, �I am for!�, �del *.*� others. Someone carried multicolored umbrella, Dali�s portrait, portrait of a man, who look like Che and one of the monstrators in the same time, guitar�s sounding board and other things.

Lenin�s square meted us with Russian�s hymn. There and then police group gathered round us and demanded to roll up transparences and leave the square. No one was going to stay there, bu is was a pity � all others are standing, but it is illegal for us. We sad, that we don�twent away, until mass-meeting over. Then police went by wall formation on us, and forced us out. Some of the journalists shooted a news about this action, but police coarsely shouted at they, what they will seized there cameras and journalist�s certificate.

Came peoples and said, tham some of us have been arrested, when they were remained behind column. They were transported to the central police station, ans owr group went there. Police asked about a sense of the slogans �Monstraton� and �Y-y-y-y-yt!� from the prisoners. After answer, that there is no sense in it, police said the phrase of a day � �It is antiglobalisn�s losungs!�. Polise compeled from prisoners to sign a paper with text near �Our slogans have not called to overthrow constitutional regime�!

P.S. Journalists and policemen call us antiglobalists, but this action were positioned as apolitical.

P.P.S. 3-rd May law-court sentence 5 monstrators to penalty 500 rubles (~15 euro). Cops must die!
